We’re really looking forward to putting up some wonderful Christmas lights again this year. The section up to Bleibtreustraße has already been funded, but we need your help for lightening up the entire boulevard! Let’s get started: Let’s transform the entire 4.2 km into a sea of festive lights!
The City West in festive splendor, glowing trees along Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraße, the scent of roasted almonds in the air, and a sea of warm lights that connect people, warm hearts, and make children’s eyes shine.
To bring these emotions back to life in 2026, we need you!
Join “Give Berlin Your Light” and help transforming Berlin once again into a sea of lights from end November, 2026, to January 6, 2027 – for Berliners, the guests from all over the world, and for yourself!
Unlike in other cities, Berlin’s Christmas lights are funded entirely through donations. Because of their emotional and economic importance for the city, they are a true matter of the heart for AG City, which dedicates itself every year with great commitment to finding sponsors and make the Christmas illumination happen together with lighting designer Andreas Boehlke.
(The yellow route is almost funded – the red one still needs your light.)
Whether it’s a single light or an entire tree – every light makes a difference. Together, we give Berlin a glow that connects people and spreads joy – for us, for our visitors, and for all the special moments that make Christmas so unique.
Our thank-you to you: For every sponsorship, you’ll receive a beautifully designed certificate – perfect as a souvenir, a gift for loved ones, or a thoughtful gesture for clients. End November, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., we’ll be turning them on again.
If you take over a sponsorship for a ¼, ½ or one entire tree, we will provide you with printed certificates, showing the exact location of your “sponsored tree,” including a serial number and your company logo or name – a lasting symbol.
After your order, we will do our utmost to ensure, that your preferred tree location will be lightended up. If your chosen “sponsorship tree” is already fully illuminated, we’ll gladly offer you an alternative.
