Glowing trees along Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraße, the scent of roasted almonds in the air, and a sea of warm lights that connect people, warm hearts, and make children’s eyes shine.
To bring these emotions back to life in 2025, we need you! With the project “Give Berlin Your Light”, you can help transform Berlin once again into a sea of lights from November 24, 2025, to January 6, 2026 – for Berliners, for guests from all over the world, and for you!
Unlike in other cities, Berlin’s Christmas lights are funded entirely through donations. Because of their emotional and economic importance for the city, they are a true labor of love for AG City, which dedicates itself every year with great commitment to finding sponsors and realizes the Christmas illumination together with lighting designer Andreas Boehlke.

Since the lights are scheduled to be switched on November 24, 2025, we kindly ask you to secure your sponsorship by October 31, 2025.
Starting from a quarter-tree sponsorship, we can provide printed commemorative certificates upon request, showing the exact location of your “sponsored tree,” including a serial number and your company logo or name – a lasting symbol. After your order, we will contact you to help assign your preferred tree location. If your chosen “sponsorship tree” is already fully illuminated, we’ll gladly offer you an alternative.
