Glowing trees along Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraße, the scent of roasted almonds in the air, and a sea of warm lights that connect people, warm hearts, and make children’s eyes shine.
To bring these emotions back to life in 2025, we need you! With the project “Give Berlin Your Light”, you can help transform Berlin once again into a sea of lights from November 25, 2025, to January 6, 2026 – for Berliners, for guests from all over the world, and for you!
Unlike in other cities, Berlin’s Christmas lights are funded entirely through donations. Because of their emotional and economic importance for the city, they are a true labor of love for AG City, which dedicates itself every year with great commitment to finding sponsors and realizes the Christmas illumination together with lighting designer Andreas Boehlke.

Just two weeks ago, we joyfully opened the third section up to Lehniner Platz. Meanwhile, we can´t believe that we’re able to share with you today: the fourth and final stretch all the way to Halensee is officially open for light and tree sponsorships!
We are truly moved by the overwhelming support and heartfelt enthusiasm you’ve shown. Every contribution and every sponsorship has reminded us how deeply this project reflects your passion for our project!

On November 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., we’ll be switching them on again. To light up the very last stretch, we still need a bit more teamwork and dedication and would be very grateful for your continued support — we’re almost there!
Starting from a quarter-tree sponsorship, we can provide printed commemorative certificates upon request, showing the exact location of your “sponsored tree,” including a serial number and your company logo or name – a lasting symbol. After your order, we will contact you to help assign your preferred tree location. If your chosen “sponsorship tree” is already fully illuminated, we’ll gladly offer you an alternative.
